In Concert. Documentary (2010). Jeff Kavanda’s group is multicultural and composed of artists from Congo, North Africa, Ghana and Belgium. The dominant style is Afro-Cuban, with influences from music of Central Africa, West Africa, North Africa, reggae and jazz. It is mainly focused on percussion: balafon, congas, djembe, bongos, berimbo, darbouka, tama, n'goma, likembe and dun num. The rhythm of percussion is supported by several other instruments: violin, piano, drums, classical drums, lead guitar, bass guitar and clarinet. The singing is polyphonic and utilizes in its repertoire Lingala, French, Spanish, Edo, Kikongo, Kibunda and Swahili languages. Dancing is also very present throughout their concerts.
