24. augusta 2001 piloti transatlantického letu 236 nad Atlantickým oceánom s hrôzou zistili, že letia doslova na benzínové výpary. Záhadným spôsobom sa minuli všetky pohonné hmoty, a tak lietadlo muselo pristáť na najbližšej námornej základni na Azorských ostrovoch. Pri vyšetrovaní vyšlo najavo, že nedostatok paliva spôsobila nesprávna údržba lietadla. V hydraulike chýbal olej, čo zničilo palivové potrubie. (TV JOJ)
