A ač se to od začátku ví, tak jediný přímý důkaz byl získán nelegálním způsobem, čímž se stal nepřípustným. Rotmistr tak trestu nejspíše unikne. Americká ponorka je svědkem autodestrukce ruské ponorky. Rusové samozřejmě obvinili Američany, že ji potopili. Američané však z důvodu utajení nechtějí říct světu pravdu. Pak je ale podplukovník Harmon Rabb pozván na ruskou ponorku na exkurzi a je na vlastní kůži svědkem stejné chyby, která zapříčinila potopení předchozí ponorky.(Amper01)

Vojín Rivera zažádal o dávky pro válečné veterány. Při tom se ale ukázalo, že nebyl nikdy z armády propuštěn, takže je zatčen za dezerci. Zúčastnil se ale také jedné z nejslavnějších bitev u přehrady Chosin, za což by naopak zasluhoval vyznamenání. A aby toho nebylo málo, při převozu do JAGu se ho někdo pokouší zabít.(Amper01)

Do přísně chráněné části přístavu vnikne loď napěchovaná bombami. Teroristé na lodi jsou zastřeleni. Ale na lodi je nalezena i seržant Steelová. Ta tvrdí, že poté, co ji unesli a mučili, schválně předstírala, že je zlomená a bude spolupracovat. Následně je pak lstivě vlákala do pasti, kde čekala, že je hlídka zastřelí - což se také stalo. Zároveň chce ale zpátky k teroristům, aby zmařila jejich další plány. Armáda jí ale nevěří, proto je postavena před soud a její obhajoby se rád ujímá podplukovník Harmon Rabb.(Amper01)

Jordan, expřítelkyně podplukovníka Harmona Rabba, se po dlouhé době vrátila ze Španělska a zanechala mu vzkaz na záznamníku. Když jí Harmon volal zpět, telefon zvedl agent NCIS a oznámil mu, že je Jordan mrtvá. Krátce nato NCIS případ uzavírá jako sebevraždu.
