Alex sa na Charliem chystá skúsiť transkraniálnu magnetickú stimuláciu, aby mu pomohla sa konečne prebudiť. Charlieho duch sa po spustení prístroja, ktorý by mohol byť nádejou na jeho prebudenie, ocitá vonku neďaleko nemocnice, stále ho nikto nevidí a na hlave trochu krváca. Pacientovi Carlosovi Garcíovi zrejme praskol apendix a má ísť na jeho vyoperovanie. Došlo k tomu v lietadle, ktoré preto muselo núdzovo pristáť. Do nemocnice ho sprevádzal Dr. Mark Wilson. Pri operácii sa však zistí, že mu apendix vôbec nepraskol. Navyše jeho pulz začne rapídne klesať, až muž nakoniec zomiera. Alex prezerá Dr. Wilsona a zisťuje, že má horúčku a kašeľ. Podľa leteniek a ďalších faktorov sa zistilo, že by Carlos aj Mark mohli byť vystavení vírusu. A nielen tí dvaja, v ohrození je celá nemocnica. Shahir má problémy so svojím priateľom. Prišla k nemu jeho matka a Shahir jej mal svojho priateľa predstaviť. Ale hanbil sa, pretože jeho priateľ je zdravotný brat a jeho matka by bola radšej, keby si vzal niekoho na vyššej pozícii. Medzi Joelom a Maggie je to v poslednom čase akési čudné. Joel sa k Maggie chová zvláštne, odmieta dokonca romantický víkend. Maggie cíti, že niečo nie je v poriadku. (TV Markíza)
