Karty jsou rozdány, Aidan v podstatě odmítnut. Odchází od Carrie a jí nezbývá než sehnat peníze na odkoupení bytu. Navštíví Božského, který ji nezklame a nabídne velkorysou půjčku. Carrie se však nechce vázat. Kamarádky chtějí Carrie půjčit peníze, pouze Charlotte se nijak nevyjádří a Carrie to zvláště zamrzí.
