Melinda s Jimom nájdu Beccu Cahillovú, ktorá utiekla z domova. Dohnali ju k tomu vlastní rodičia, ktorí nechcú veriť, že dokáže hovoriť s mŕtvymi a nútia ju podstupovať rôzne lekárske vyšetrenia. Beccu teraz sleduje chlapec, ktorý zomrel pri autonehode a nemôže nájsť svojich rodičov.
