Tony DiNozzo jde naproti svému otci k hotelu Adams. Najednou do něj vrazí cizí muž v obleku námořního důstojníka. Omluví se sice, ale DiNozzovi neunikne, že na obleku něco nesedí. Pronásleduje muže do boční uličky. Dostanou se do rozepře, DiNozzo tasí zbraň a pachatel zůstane mrtvý. Následné vyšetřování odhalí, že jediným očitým svědkem, je DiNozzův otec.
