Poté, co se Angel vrátil ze Sunnydale, kde pomohl přemožitelce, se Buffy objevila v Los Angeles. Při jejich rozhovoru jsou napadeni silným démonem. Po střetu a smíchání Angelovy a útočníkovy krve se z Angela stane opět člověk.
