This is also the only episode to credit Lacey Chabert, Meg's voice artist in the first production season, who was not credited in earlier episodes due to a contractual agreement.

Příběh je o rodince Griffinových, která reprezentuje americkou rodinku. Hlavou rodiny je Peter Griffin, který je tlustý, ne zrovna moc chytrý, ale přitom vtipný. Za ženu má Lois, která udržuje domácnost ve vyjetých kolejích. Bydlí s nimi i jejich děti a to je Meg, které je už 16 let a na škole patří i přes veškerou svou snahu mezi největší outsidery. 13ti letý Chris je zmenšená verze svého tatínka. Takže taky tlustý a přihlouplý. Nejmladší Stewie je naopak nesmírně inteligentní a už od svého 1. roku mluví a spřádá plány na to jak ovládnout svět. Další výraznou postavou je mluvící pes Brian, který trousí moudra kudy chodí, protože vystudoval Brown University. V seriálu se objeví i spousta dalších osobností, ze kterých si tvůrci utahují, ale najdeme tu i postavičky z konkurenčních seriálů, které se stali obětmi parodie.
