Jessica je po setkání s agentem MI6 Michaelem Haggertym odříznuta od plánované knižní přehlídky, aby mu v Řecku zahrála jeho manželku. Jessica přilétá se svým starým přítelem Michaelem Hagartym, agentem MI6, do Atén. Opět se tu ale Haggarty nenachází náhodou, ačkoliv tentokrát jde pouze o neoficiální akci, při které chce zachránit kolegyni Laddie Fairchildovou. Ta je zločinci držena pod výkupným milion dolarů. Nicméně místní šéf stanice nechce mít s touto soukromou operací nic společného. Když pak herečka Pamela Drakeová, kterou Michael najal, aby zahrála jeho manželku, dorazí pozdě, přesvědčí Jessicu, aby to vzala za ni. Očividně však někdo celý plán maří, a když je Pamela nalezena mrtvá, musí začít vyšetřování vraždy.(Radek273)
